TURNING THE TIDE OF THE OBESITY EPIDEMIC

THE CURRENT STATE OF OBESITY IN THE US: Two out of three adults in the US [almost 155 million people] are either overweight, obese, or morbidly obese. Unfortunately, children are following in the footsteps of adults, as now more than one in three kids in the U.S. are overweight or obese. Each year, these numbers increase while obesity related health and economic impact worsen.

The BLIS Foundation helps individuals and organizations address the obesity epidemic through the following programs:
